The album, produced by Joe Henry, features Laurie performing a very personal selection of standards and lost blues classics originally recorded by New Orleans blues legends such as Lead Belly, Robert Johnson, and Memphis Slim.

Laurie is best known for his starirng role on the hit FOX series House,M.D.. His many other film and television credits include Jeeves and Wooster, Black Adder the Third, Friends, A Bit of Fry and Laurie, and Arthur Christmas.
