Works by Tina Howe, Lanford Wilson Set for Keen Company’s 2011-2012 Season

The Keen Company has announced the plays it will produce during the 2011-2012 season.

The theater’s first offering of the year will be Lanford Wilson’s Lemon Sky, to run September 13 – October 22 at the Clurman Theatre on Theatre Row. The play, to be directed by Jonathan Silverstein, focuses on a 17-year-old who moves to California to live with his estranged father’s second family.

The Keen Company’s will also produce a revival of Tina Howe’s Painting Churches. Carl Forsman will direct the play, about a young painter and her relationship with her parents, which will begin performances at the Clurman on February 14.

Casting and creative teams for both productions will be announced in the near future.
