Ice Factory Festival to Include Studio Series, Ice Cubes

As part of the Ice Factory Festival of new work at the 3LD Art & Technology Center, the festival will present the Ice Cubes studio series on Thursday and Friday nights at 9pm.

Works will include Commedia dell’Artemisia, created by Stolen Chair Company, written by Kiran Rikhye and directed by Jon Stancato (June 23 – 24); Be Story Free, by Kirk Wood Bromley and featuring Matt Oberg and Steve Burns, with videos by Leah Schrager and a live score by John Gideon (June 30 – July 1); The Love Letter You’ve Been Meaning to Write New York, conceived & directed by Jonathan Solari (July 7 – 8); Dead People, created and directed by Everywhere Theatre Group, original text by Teddy Nicholas and Leah Winkler, video and sound by Chase Voorhees (July 14 – 15); Americans n’ Indians by Matthieu Sys and Yahya Terryn, created by the ensemble, co-directed by Kevin Doyle (July 21 – 22); and Will Sing by The Ma-Yi Theater Company Writers Lab (Samantha Chanse, Carla Ching, Mia Chung, Michael Lew and Qui Nguyen), directed by Ralph Peña.
