Hoyle originated the role of Zazu in the Broadway production of The Lion King. His other solo shows include Feast of Fools, The Convict's Return, (Geni(us), and The First Hundred Years. He has also appeared in productions at such regional theaters as Berkeley Rep, Seattle Repertory Theatre, A.C.T. and the La Jolla Playhouse, and was a member of the Pickle Family Circus.
