Danson, Erbe, Hickey, Johnson, Maxwell, et al. Set for Atlantic’s Ten By Twenty

Ted Danson, Kathryn Erbe, John Benjamin Hickey, Kristen Johnson, and Jan Maxwell are among the actors who will participate in The Atlantic Theater Company’s Ten By Twenty, a one-act festival of 10-minute plays, to run June 14-July 1 at the brand-new Atlantic Stage Two (330 West 16th Street). The theater will house two productions of new works each season and serve as a home theater for the Atlantic Theater Company Acting School.

Ten By Twenty will feature new works commissioned by notable playwrights whose work has been produced at the Atlantic over the past two decades: Hilary Bell, Jez Butterworth, Kia Corthron, Tom Donaghy, John Guare, Peter Hedges, Kevin Heelan, Tina Howe, Rolin Jones, Howard Korder, Quincy Long, Craig Lucas, David Mamet, Joe Penhall, David Pittu, David Rabe, Keith Reddin, Edwin Sanchez, Jeff Whitty, and Bill Wrubel. The 20 plays will be divided among three series, each of which will run for five performances.

Other actors to be included in the series are Jen Albano, Peter Bartlett, Kate Blumberg, Patrick Breen, Brennan Brown, Ronnie Butler, Matt Dawson, Donna Duplantier, Alex Draper, Mike Doyle, Jim Frangione, Linda Gehringer, Zabryna Guevara, Steven Hawley, Peter Jacobson, Jordan Lage, Roberta Maxwell, Carolyn McCormick, Peter Maloney, Christian Parker, Emily Peck, Susan Pourfar, David Pittu, Jonathan Rossetti, Christa Scott-Reed, Steven Skybell, Patrick Taylor, Ray Anthony Thomas, and Mark Webber.

The directors for the series will be Robert Bella, Carl Forsman, Jackson Gay, Peter Hedges, Hilary Hinckle, Karen Kohlhaas, Dave Mowers, Christian Parker, and Neil Pepe.
