The new concert series Live From Gramercy Park at the legendary venue The Players will welcome composer Lance Horne at 9pm on Wednesday, May 14.

Emmy Award winner Horne will serve as host and musical director for the evening, which will feature performances by Broadway veterans Daphne Rubin-Vega (Rent), Robin De Jesús (In the Heights), Alexandra Silber (Arlington), as well as singer/songwriter Valerie Geffner, poet Thomas March, juggler and comedian Marcus Monroe (La Soirée), pianist Samora Pinderhughes, and Justin Sayre of The Meeting.

The Players was founded in 1888 by actor Edwin Booth and is located in a Greek revival townhouse, modeled after London's Garrick Club, facing Gramercy Park. The venue celebrates its 125th anniversary this year.

Live From Gramercy Park is produced by Michael Barra, Christian Campbell, Lance Horne, and The Players Events Committee. The event will be recorded for a subsequent online video broadcast.
