Flashback Friday: Before There Were Cats on Broadway, There Was Cats on Broadway

…And Terrence Mann was the foxiest cat of all.

By New York City

Rum Tum Tugger is a curious cat: He has a curiously large blowout. He has curiously superhuman (cat?) strength. And he's curiously sexy…for a cat.

For all of the aforementioned reasons, we would like to pay homage to Broadway's original Rum Tum Tugger, Terrence Mann, who is currently up for a Tony Award for his performance as King Charlemagne in the revival of Pippin. And we wanted to pay homage to Cats…because...cats.

With all of that in mind, we give you this video of Terrence Mann, showing us what it takes to hack it (aka not get fired) as a Broadway cat.
