Broadway veteran Cyndi Lauper served as one of the hosts of a special benefit event for The True Colors Fund, held on Thursday, April 28 in the R Lounge at the Renaissance New York Times Square Hotel.

In addition to Lauper, the event featured performances by Jacqueline B. Arnold, Anastacia McCleskey, and Ashley Spencer, who play the "Divas" in Broadway's Priscilla Queen of the Desert the Musical, as well as DJ Mia Moretti and electric violinist Caitlin Moe.

The True Colors Fund, co-founded by Lauper, works to inspire people to become active participants in the advancement of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender equality.
