Emily Ackerman, Maria Dizzia, Gibson Frazier, Lexy Fridell, Nina Hellman, Brandon Miller, Caitlin Miller, Jeanine Serralles, and Robbie Collier Sublett are scheduled to perform at The Civilians’ annual spring benefit, It’s Not Easy Being Green, to be held on May 6 at Kiss & Fly Club.

The evening’s theme comes from the group’s newest play in development, The Great Immensity, which is about climate change and the future of the planet. Excerpts from the piece will be performed at the event as will new songs from Michael Friedman, who will create numbers that evening based on guests’ response to the question “When you think about the future of the planet, what do you see?”

A cocktail reception will precede the performance.
