Josh Groban to Give Free Concert in Bryant Park on May 16

Singer Josh Groban will give a free concert in Bryant Park on the morning of Friday, May 16 as part of ABC’s Good Morning America‘s Summer Concert Series. The show airs from 7am-9am EST.

Reprise/143 Records released the singer’s Awake Live on CD and DVD on May 6. The DVD features Groban’s entire 100-minute concert performed on August 28 in Salt Lake City, while the CD consists of selected excerpts from the event. The recordings include such hits as “Canto Alla Vita,” “Alla Luce Del Sole,” “You Raise Me Up,” “Remember When It Rained,” and “February Song.”

Groban was recently part of Paul Simon’s American Tunes concert at the BAM Opera House, and starred earlier this week opposite Idina Menzel, Kerry Ellis, and Adam Pascal in a concert version of Chess at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
