Boone, DeLuise, Feinstein, Hamlisch, Howard, Lee, et al. Set for Dorothy Fields Salute

Debby Boone, Dom DeLuise, Marvin Hamlisch, Ken Howard, and Michele Lee will be among the performers appearing in On The Sunny Side of the Street, a salute to lyricist Dorothy Fields, which will be held at 8pm on Monday, May 15 at the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles. The evening, which will benefit the Center Theatre Group’s discount ticket programs, will be hosted by Michael Feinstein.

Other performers who are scheduled to appear include Michelle Duffy, Elizabeth Ward Land, Amy Pietz, Jubilant Sykes, and BJ Ward. Fields wrote such songs as “The Way You Look Tonight,” “I’m in the Mood for Love,” and “Pick Yourself Up.” She was the first woman to be elected to the Songwriters’ Hall of Fame.

Tickets to the benefit are $200 (performance only) and $500 (including a post-performance party at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion). For tickets and information, call 213-972-3139.
