Tony-winning songwriters Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman were honored at Carnegie Hall on April 28 by the New York Pops during its 31st-birthday gala. On hand to perform tunes by the prolific composers were cast members from their musicals Hairspray, Catch Me If You Can, and Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me, as well as a host of other Broadway luminaries.
