Zoe Perry, Talia Balsam, and More to Star in Good Television at Atlantic Theater Company

Bob Krakower will direct the new Rod McLachlan play.

Atlantic Theater Company has announced that Talia Balsam (Mad Men), Jessica Cummings (The Seagull), John Magaro (Tigers Be Still), Kelly McAndrew (Cat on a Hot Tin Roof), Zoe Perry (The Other Place), Luke Robertson (The Other Place), Andrew Stewart-Jones (The Good Wife), and Ned Van Zandt (The Iceman Cometh) will star in the upcoming production of Rod McLachlan’s new play, Good Television. Bob Krakower will direct the production, which runs May 22-June 16 with an opening on June 4.

In Good Television, Connie is an intervention counselor and producer on a reality television series that profiles people suffering from addiction. Her principles come up against her when she is asked to take on a risky case in the hopes of making a riveting, explosive episode.

Rod McLachlan makes his off-Broadway debut as a playwright. He has previously appeared off-Broadway as an actor in the Atlantic’s productions of Edmund, Clean, and more.

The design team will feature Eric Southern (scenic design), Theresa Squire (costume design), Mary Louise Geiger (lighting design), and Cormac Bluestone (original music and sound design).
