Broadway veteran and Academy Award winner Robert Redford will launch his new Sundance Channel series Robert Redford Presents on Saturday, April 28 with the 1996 film version of Arthur Miller's The Crucible.

For the series, Redford -- who is also artistic director of the Sundance Film Festival -- will speak about such independent films as Wendy & Lucy, Blue Velvet, The Deep End and The Imperialists Are Still Alive.

The Crucible, which focuses on the story of the Salem witch hunts, was directed by Tony Award winner Nicholas Hytner and stars Daniel Day-Lewis, Joan Allen, Winona Ryder, and Paul Scofield.

Redford received a Theatre World Award for Sunday in New York and his other Broadway credits include Tall Story and Barefoot in the Park.
