Taye Diggs, Melissa George, David Harbour, and Julia Stiles are attached to star in Between Us, the film adaption of Joe Hortua’s 2004 Off-Broadway play, according to Deadline.com. Dan Mirvish will direct the film, and co-write the script with Hortua.

The show, which played Manhattan Theatre Club in 2004, concerns two couples who were friends in school and whose periodic meetings conjure up rivalries and bitterness over unrealized ambitions that get waylaid by money and children.

Diggs’ stage credits include Wicked and The Wild Party. George is best known for her work on Alias. Harbour starred in the stage play, alongside Kate Jennings Grant, Daphne Rubin-Vega, and Bradley White. He most recently appeared on Broadway in The Merchant of Venice. Stiles’ stage credits include Oleanna, Persephone, and Twelfth Night.
