Sam Waterston and Brian Murray will reprise their performances as Bernard Berenson and Joseph Duveen, respectively, in two readings of Simon Gray’s The Old Masters, to be offered on June 20 and June 27 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, according to a report in The New York Times. The actors recently starred in the play at Long Wharf Theatre.

Gray’s play focuses on how art dealer Duveen worked to persuade art historian Berenson to change the attribution of a painting thought to be by Titian.
