Anthony Rapp, Steven Walters et al. Set for Nobody Suspects a Butterfly Workshop Presentation

Broadway veteran Anthony Rapp and Steven Walters, who plays Glenn Reed on Friday Night Lights, will lead the cast of Nobody Suspects a Butterfly, written and directed by Chris Henry, with additional writing by Katie Avebe, with choreography by Dante Puleio. Royal Family Productions, Inc. will present this developmental workshop presentation at TBG Theatre, May 8-15.

Based on a true story, the production utilizes dance, flashbacks, projections and interviews, in a interdisciplinary work that dissects the media’s obsession with a small town coping with the suicides of five young athletes.

The cast will also include Luis Amory, Patricia Buckley, Danielle Chmbers, Sean Cullen, Reyna De Courcy, Lindsey Gruber, William Ham, Paul Jones, James Kautz, Charlie Kevin, Matt Lundy, Eric T. Miller, Dan Morrison, Lara J. Mummert, Heather Phillips, Daniel Shafer, Zak Slemmer, Eric Stone, Amanda Sykes, and Nic Tyler .

The creative team will include Alex Koch (video designer), Claire Karoff (set designer), David Bengali (lighting designer), Jeff Watts (costume designer), Jeanne Wu (sound designer), David Buchs (composer), Ron Piretti (fight director).

There will be a special benefit presentation on Saturday, May 14 at 8pm that is $250 per ticket. All other showings of the piece are free, but reservations required. Reservations can be made by rsvp@royalfamilyproductions.org.
