Green Day to Headline Lollapalooza Festival

Green Day will be one of the headliners at this year’s Lollapalooza Festival, to be held August 6-8 in Chicago’s Grant Park, according to published reports.
The award-winning band is currently represented on Broadway with the musical American Idiot, which is now at the St. James Theatre, with an official opening set for April 20.
Among the other acts set to play the festival will be Soundgarden, Lady Gaga, Arcade Fire, The Strokes, Phoenix, Spoon, Jimmy Cliff, Devo, MGMT, Hot Chip, Cypress Hill, Mavis Staples, the Black Keys, and Erykah Badu.
