Botti, Bridgewater, Green, Hancock, Reeves, et al. Set for NY’s JVC Jazz Festival

Chris Botti, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Al Green, Herbie Hancock, and Dianne Reeves are just some of the artists who will participate in the 2008 JVC Jazz Festival — New York, to be presented June 15-28 at various locations.

This year’s festival will consist of 38 separate concerts, along with nearly 200 related events at clubs, schools, museums, and other New York City venues.

Other notable artists in the festival will include the Mos Def Big Band, with Gill Scott-Heron, Sergio Mendes, Joao Gilberto, Joshua Redman, Jill Scott, Tierney Sutton, Dick Hyman, Billy Taylor, Bucky Pizzarelli, Raul Midon, Jay Leonhart, Anat Cohen, and Simone.
