Kristin Chenoweth to Donate Auction Items for AIDS Walk NY

Tony Award winner Kristin Chenoweth will donate a variety of memorabilia from her personal auction for a benefit auction for AIDS Walk NY 2007, which takes place on Sunday, May 20. The auction will take place from April 15-May 1.

The auction, to be called “Kristin’s Closet” will feature signed and captioned photos, programs, and CDs from Chenoweth’s past production, along with a collection of clothes worn to various events and costumes. One fan will have the opportunity to have Chenoweth to play “personal stylist.”

Chenoweth will host the Drama Desk Awards at LaGuardia High School on Sunday, May 20. She returned to Broadway this season in the revival of The Apple Tree and will star in the upcoming City Center Encores! production of Stairway to Paradise, May 10-14.

She won a Tony for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for her performance in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown and received a nomination for her role of Glinda in Wicked. Her other New York stage credits include Scapin, Epic Proportions, Steel Pier, and Candide; her film and television work includes The West Wing, Kristin, and Bewitched.
