Keith Nobbs, Nicole Lowrance, and Bobby Steggert head the cast of
Columbinus, a theatrical work based on Columbine High School shootings that will be presented by New York Theatre Workshop. Written by The United States Theatre Project and conceived and directed by PJ Paparelli, the show will begin performances on May 5 and will open officially on May 22.

Sparked by the April 1999 massacre at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado, the piece weaves together excerpts from discussions with parents, survivors, and community leaders in Littleton as well as diaries and home video footage. The cast of the NYTW production also includes Anna Camp, Joaquin Perez Campbell, James Flanagan, Carmen M. Herlihy, and Will Rogers.

Nobbs received a Lucille Lortel Award for Four and has also been seen in such shows as Fuddy Meers, Romance, Dublin Carol, and Dog Sees God. Lowrance’s Off-Broadway credits include Engaged, The Skin Game, and All’s Well That Ends Well. Steggert, who was recently seen in The Music Teacher, starred on the ABC daytime drama All My Children as Sam Grey.
