Drama Book Shop Announces Talk with Arthur Laurents and Other May Events

The Drama Book Shop, located at 250 West 40th Street in Manhattan, has announced three upcoming in-store programs involving authors of recently released books. All of these events will begin at 6pm.

On Monday, May 10, actress Jodie Langel and entertainment lawyer David Weinir will discuss their new book Making It on Broadway. There will also be performances by Doug Storm and other artists who were interviewed for the book.

Then on Wednesday, May 12, the legendary playwright and musical theater book author Arthur Laurents will converse with TheaterMania's David Finkle in celebration of the release of Selected Plays of Arthur Laurents. The program will include readings, the discussion, an audience Q&A, and a book signing; for those unable to attend the rest of the program, the signing will begin around 7:15pm.

Finally, on Monday, May 24, Robert Blumenfeld will host a workshop/demonstration in celebration of the release of his book Acting With the Voice: The Art of Recording Books.
