Casting Announced for The Broadway Musicals of 1949

Complete casting has been announced for the next installment in the “Broadway By the Year” concert series, The Broadway Musicals of 1949, to be presented on Monday, April 19 at The Town Hall, beginning at 8pm.
Performing in the show will be theater stars Cady Huffman, Nancy Lemenager, Noah Racey, Marla Schaffel, Martin Vidnovic, Robert Westernberg, and Karen Ziemba, along with cabaret stars Scott Coulter and Lennie Watts.
Among the musicals that opened on Broadway in 1949, from which songs are likely to be drawn for the show, were South Pacific, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, Lost in the Stars, Regina, Touch and Go, Miss Liberty, Texas, L’il Darling, Along Fifth Avenue, All For Love, and Blackouts of 1949.
