The play concerns a Bronx borough President (Esposito) who is forced, by the mortgage crisis into a confrontation with a local minister (Cephas Jones). The work is the final installment of Shanley's trilogy called Church and State, which began with the Pulitzer Prize-winning Doubt.

The production will feature scenic design by Takeshi Kata, costume design by Alejo Vietti, lighting design by Matthew Richards and sound design by Bart Fasbender.
