The Sensational Josephine Baker is a touching, comedic musical about the Jazz Age legend Josephine Baker. Howard delivers the tale, which features several of Baker's own songs, through an array of female characters including Josephine's domineering mother, fellow chorus girl Lydia Jones, Ada "Bricktop" Smith, and Baker herself.

Cheryl Howard has toured and performed throughout the United States and Europe. She has starred as Deena Jones in Dreamgirls in Berlin and as Josephine Baker in Josephine: The Musical.
