Roundabout Theatre Company Extends Dream of the Burning Boy Through May 15

Roundabout Theatre Company has announced a one-week extension of David West Read’s new play, The Dream of the Burning Boy, presented as part of its Roundabout Underground initiative, which will now close on May 15. Evan Cabnet has directed the production.

In the play, the sudden death of a high school overachiever exposes a secret that could destroy those left behind, or bring them closer together.

The cast features Reed Birney, Josh Caras, Matt Dellapina, Jake O’Connor, Jessica Rothenberg, Kristie Dale Sanders, and Alexandra Socha.

The creative team will include Lee Savage (sets), Jessica Wegener Shay (costumes), Ben Stanton (lighting), and Jill BC DuBoff (sound).
