Maddie Corman, Angel Desai, Susan Louise O’Connor, Jim Stanek, et al. Set for Desperate Writers Off-Broadway

Casting has been announced for Joshua Grenrock and Catherine Schreiber’s Desperate Writers, which will begin previews on May 16 at the Union Square Theatre, in anticipation of an official opening on June 6. Kay Cole will direct the production.

The show focuses on a couple of desperate writers, with the baby clock ticking and their home about to be sold out from under them, who are driven to desperate measures to get their script read, bought and made. The cast will feature Bob Ari, Maddie Corman, Angel Desai, Christopher Durham, Kelsey Nash, Susan Louise O’Connor, Vayu O’Donnell, Catherine Schreiber, Jim Stanek, and Pauletta Washington.

The creative team will include scenic designer Lauren Helpern; costume designer Stephen Donovan, and lighting designer Jeremy Pivnick.
