Barbara Cook, Donna Murphy, Mandy Patinkin, Vanessa Williams, et al. Set for NYTW’s Monday at the Plaza with James Benefit

New York Theatre Workshop will present a benefit Monday at the Plaza with James, a tribute to Tony Award-winnng director and playwright James Lapine, on Monday, May 23 at the Plaza Hotel. Dan Knechtges will direct the concert.

Performers will include Stephen Bogardus, Carolee Carmello, Barbara Cook, Heather MacRae, Donna Murphy, Mandy Patinkin, Michael Rupert, Claudia Shear, Vanessa Williams, and Deborah Voigt.

Lapine’s credits include Sunday in the Park With George, Into the Woods, Passion. Falsettos, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and Dirty Blonde.
