Michelle Williams has extended her limited engagement with the Broadway production of Chicago, playing at the Ambassador Theatre. She will now play Roxie Hart through April 13. She will then join the national tour during the Los Angeles engagement of the show at the Pantages Theatre, playing the same role, April 20-May 9.

It has also been announced that Matthew Settle will now make his Broadway debut playing Billy Flynn, beginning April 19, and not, as previously reported on March 29. Settle's run with the show will now continue through June 13. Tony Award nominee Tom Hewett will play the role March 29-April 18.

Other additions to the Broadway company include mra-Faye Wright who will return to the role of Velma Kelly April 5 and Terri White, who will make her Chicago debut as Matron "Mama" Morton on April 26.

Chicago has been directed by Walter Bobbie and choreographed by Ann Reinking. The creative team includes John Lee Beatty (scenic design), William Ivey Long (costume design), Ken Billington (lighting design), and Scott Lehrer (sound design).
