Miramax will distribute the film, which is written by Allan Loeb, and based on a short story by Jeffrey Eugenides.

The story revolves around friends Wally (Bateman) and Kassie (Aniston), whose plan to have a baby on her own is complicated when Wally secretly swaps Kassie's chosen sperm donation with his own. Wilson will play the genetically superior sperm donor that Kassie originally selects, and Goldblum will portray Wally's boss.
