Juilliard Gala to Be Telecast Live From Lincoln Center

Renée Fleming, Kevin Kline, Wynton Marsalis, Itzhak Perlman, Leontyne Price, and John Williams are among the artists who will participate in The Juilliard School — Celebrating 100 Years, a gala commemorating the centennial of the famed performing arts school. The event will be hosted by Beverly Sills and will be telecast as part of PBS’s Live from Lincoln Center series on Monday, April 3 at 8pm in the New York area. Kline, a Tony- and Oscar-winning actor and a Juilliard alumnus, will perform with the school’s drama students. The gala will also feature performances by pianists Emanuel Ax and Pen Peng, saxophonist Victor Gaines, trombonist Wycliffe Gordon, the Juilliard Orchestra, and the Juilliard Dance Ensemble.
