Amoros, David, Essman, Gold, Pinette, Smith Set for Comedy Cares 3 Benefit

Larry Amoros, Jim David, Susie Essman, Judy Gold, John Pinette, and Bob Smith will perform at Comedy Cares 3, a benefit for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, to be held at 7pm on Monday, April 3 at Caroline’s on Broadway.

Amoros was a writer for The Rosie O’Donnell Show. David, who will host the event, has appeared on the TV shows Comedy Central Presents and Tough Crowd. Essman is best known for her role on the HBO series Curb Your Enthusiasm. Gold is currently starring in her solo show 25 Questions for a Jewish Mother at the Ars Nova; the show is expected to transfer to a larger Off-Broadway house later this year. Pinette played the role of Edna Turnblad in the Broadway company of Hairspray. Smith has been seen on his own HBO comedy special.
