Manhattan Concert Productions offered a sneak peek of its upcoming presentation of Maury Yeston and Peter Stone's Tony-winning musical Titanic on Tuesday, February 11. Directed by original Broadway cast member Don Stephenson, the concert staging will reunite almost all of Titanic's original cast and take place on February 17 at Avery Fisher Hall.
Featured performers include Michael Cerveris as Thomas Andrews, Becky Ann Baker as Charlotte Cardoza, John Bolton as Charles Lightoller, Mindy Cooper as Edith Corse Evans, Allan Corduner as Henry Etches, David Costabile as William Murdoch, Alma Cuervo as Ida Straus, John Cunningham as Captain E.J. Smith, Lisa Datz as Madeline Astor, David Elder as Frederick Fleet, Brian d'Arcy James as Frederick Barrett, David Garrison as J. Bruce Ismay, Jody Gelb as Eleanor Widener, Erin Hill as Kate Mullins, Robin Irwin as Marion Thayer, Joseph Kolinski as Benjamin Guggenheim, Theresa McCarthy as Kate Murphey, Drew McVety as Herbert J. Pitman and J.H. Rogers, Martin Moran as Harold Bride, Jennifer Piech as Kate McGowan, Michele Ragusa as Alice Beane, Ted Sperling as Joseph Bell and Wallace Hartley, Clarke Thorell as Jim Farrell, William Youmans as J.J. Astor, John Jellison as Edgar Beane, Jill Paice as Caroline Neville, Ron Raines as Isidor Straus, Ryan Silverman as Charles Clarke, Jonathan Brody as John B. Thayer, and Scott Burkell as George Widener/Frank Carlson. The production will also feature 250 singers from across the country, accompanied by the New York City Chamber Orchestra.
