Set in 1940s New York City, Breakfast at Tiffany's follows Fred, a young writer from Louisiana, who falls for the vivacious and elusive Holly Golightly. Adapted from Truman Capote's novella by Tony Award winner Richard Greenberg (Take Me Out), the drama, directed by Sean Mathias (Waiting for Godot), begins previews on March 4 in advance of a March 20 opening.
The complete company also includes six-time Emmy Award nominee George Wendt (Cheers), Eddie Korbich (A Christmas Story), Paolo Montalban (Pacific Overtures), Tony Award nominee Suzanne Bertish (Wit), Tony Award nominee Lee Wilkof (Kiss Me, Kate), Murphy Guyer (Glengarry Glen Ross), Kate Cullen Roberts (Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson), John Rothman (Relatively Speaking), Danny Binstock (High School Musical), Tony Torn (The Forest), James Yaegashi (Take Me Out), Elisabeth Anthony Gray, and Pedro Carmo.
The creative team includes Tony Award winner Derek McLane (scenic design), Colleen Atwood (costume design), Tony Award winner Peter Kaczorowski (lighting design), Drama Desk Award winner Wendall K. Harrington (projections design) and Rob Milburn & Michael Bodeen (music and sound design).
