Blast Radius, part two of Rogers' sci-fi epic The Honeycomb Trilogy, follows a sister and brother at mortal odds in an Earth radically changed by years of occupation by a conquering alien race.
The cast will include Becky Byers as Ronnie, Jason Howard as Conor, Felicia Hudson, Joe Mathers, Amy Lee Pearsall, David Rosenblatt as Abbie, Seth Shelden, Nancy Sirianni, Alisha Spielmann, Adam Swirderski, Kristen Vaughan as Amelia, and Cotton Wright.
Rogers is an an award-winning Brooklyn-based playwright, professional writer, and performer who writes and produces thrillers, science fiction, horror, and dark comedies for the stage. The other two parts of The Honeycomb Trilogy are his plays, Advance Man and Sovereign. Additional works include Universal Robots (Best Off-Off Broadway Play from the New York Theatre Bloggers Association), Viral (Outstanding Play honor from the 2009 FringeNYC), Hail Satan (winner of the Outstanding Playwriting Award at the 2007 New York International Fringe Festival), and Fleet Week: The Musical (Outstanding Musical award from FringeNYC 2005).
