Broadway’s Billy Elliot to Hold Actors Fund Performance February 24

The Broadway production of Billy Elliot the Musical, performing at the Imperial Theatre, will hold an Actors Fund special performance on Wednesday, February 24 at 8pm.

Based on the 2000 film of the same name, the show tells the tale of a young boy with a dream of being a dancer. The show won 10 Tony Awards, including Best Musical.

Featuring music by Elton John, book and lyrics by Lee Hall, choreography by Peter Darling and direction by Stephen Daldry, Billy Elliot stars Michael Dameski, Alex Ko, Trent Kowalik, Liam Redhead, and Dayton Tavares rotating in the lead role of Billy, with Philip Whitchurch as Dad; Kate Hennig as Mrs. Wilkinson; Carole Shelley as Grandma; Will Chase as Tony; and Trevor Braun and Jake Evan Schwencke as Michael.
