Cruz, Machado, Tropicana, et al. Set for Playwrights Panel

Nilo Cruz, Eduardo Machado, Carmen Rivera, Edwin Sanchez, and Carmelita Tropicana will participate in Latino-American Voices: Playwrights in the USA, a free panel discussion to take place at 6pm on Monday, February 19 at the Instituto Cervantes (211-215 East 49th Street).

The discussion, which is being produced by the Latino International Theater Festival of New York and Instituto Cervantes, will be moderated by journalist Patrick Pacheco.

The event is precursor to TeatroStage Fest, a two-week theater festival to take place April 30-May 13, which will spotlight the best of theater from New York, the Caribbean, Latin America, and Spain. The festival will include artist panels, a cabaret series at Joe’s Pub, and performances.
