MCC Postpones Opening of The Wooden Breeks to February 21

The official opening of MCC Theater’ s production of Glen Berger’s The Wooden Breeks at the Lucille Lortel Theater has been postponed until February 21, to “implement further artistic changes.” The show, which was supposed to open on February 15, will run until March 11 as previously announced.

The play is set in the mythical land of Brood, full of dreamers, schemers, and various sets of would-be-lovers. Berger is best known as the author of Underneath the Lintel.

The production is directed by Trip Cullman, who is currently represented by the Off-Broadway production of Dog Sees God. The show features set design by Beowulf Borritt, costume design by Anita Yavich, lighting design by Paul Whitaker, and sound design by Fitz Patton.

The cast features Louis Cancelmi, Veanne Cox, Ron Cephas Jones, Maria Dizzia, Jaymie Dornan, Stephen Mellor, Ana Reeder, Adam Rothenberg, and T. Ryder Smith.
