The hit Off Broadway productions of The Vagina Monologues and James Joyce's The Dead are currently experiencing some surprising and exciting cast changes.

Beginning Monday, March 13, for example, Faith Prince will join the cast of The Dead, replacing Blair Brown in the role of Gretta Conroy. Prince accepted the part after two days of negotiation after Betty Buckley declined to join the production.

Over at Eve Ensler's The Vagina Monologues, meanwhile, Alanis Morissette will join legendary actress Shirley Knight as well as the shimmering Andrea Martin, from March 21 through April 2.
