Meet Maria Dizzia, Greg Keller, and the Cast of Off-Broadway’s Belleville

The New York Theatre Workshop production of the new Amy Herzog play also stars Pascale Armand and Phillip James Brannon.

The cast of New York Theatre Workshop‘s upcoming production of Amy Herzog’s Belleville began rehearsals on Tuesday, January 22. Directed by Anne Kauffman (Detroit), the psychological thriller will run from February 12 through March 31.

Set in the bohemian Paris neighborhood Belleville, the play follows Abby and Zack (Tony nominee Maria Dizzia and Greg Keller), a pair of American ex-pats whose relationship is put to the test when they realize they might not know each other as well as they thought. Pascale Armand (Ruined), and Phillip James Brannon (The Cook) are also featured in the company as Abby and Zack’s French-African landlords.

Dizzia (In the Next Room…), Keller (Wit), and Armand appeared in the 2011 world premiere staging of the drama at Yale Repertory Theatre. Herzog’s plays include The Great God Pan, 4000 Miles, and After the Revolution. Kauffman’s many directing credits also include Maple & Vine, Stunning, and Slowgirl.
