Kirsten Greenidege's Luck of the Irish is the story of a 1950's African-American couple who pay a struggling Irish family to "ghost-buy" a house for them in Boston. The conflict continues fifty years later when the Irish family wants "their" house back.
The design team will include sets by Mimi Lien, costumes by Oana Botez, lighting by Justin Townsend, and sound by Matt Tierney.
Kirsten Greenidge's other plays include Bossa Nova, Milk Like Sugar, Rust, The Curious Walk of the Salamander, and The Gibson Girl. Kirsten is currently a Huntington Theatre Playwrighting Fellow in Boston, Massachusetts.
