Soho Rep has added two performances — January 12 at 7pm and January 15 at 10pm — to its presentation of Jomama Jones: Radiate. Directed by Kym Moore and featuring music direction by Bobby Halvorson, the production is scheduled to run through January 15.

In this new piece, Jones spins a classic American comeback story, exploring her life and career highs and lows through song and narrative.

Jones is perhaps best known for her R&B hits like “Ghetto (In My Mind)” and “Afromatic.” Among her film appearances are Sister Soul and the Coloniers From Mars. Among her recent projects, the album, Lone Star, created in collaboration with Halvorson.

The band for the show will be led by Halvorson and feature Ted Cruz, Sean Dixon, Michael O’Brien and Kelly Rossum. The creative team will include Arnulfo Maldonado (set design), Lucrecia Briceno (lighting design), Oana Botez-Ban (costume design), and Nick Kourtides (sound design).
