Performances of Agatha Christie's The Mousetrap begin this evening at McCarter Theatre Center.

In the English countryside, an eclectic group of strangers gets trapped together during a horrendous snowstorm. Unfortunately for them, there may also be a murderer among them. From the jealous newlyweds, to the spinster with a curious background, to the off-kilter architect, and the straight-laced retired Army Major, everyone is a suspect. In a world with mysterious women and men who arrive at the door unannounced, a suspicious detective must try to sniff out the criminal before it’s too late.

Christie’s classic, directed by Adam Immerwahr, features Jessica Bedford as Molly Ralston, Richard Gallagher as Det. Sgt. Trotter, Adam Green as Giles Ralston, Graeme Malcolm as Major Metcalf, Andy Phelan as Christopher Wren, Thom Sesma as Mr. Paravicini, Sandra Shipley as Mrs. Boyle, and Emily Young as Miss Casewell.

The creative team includes Alexander Dodge (set design), Jess Goldstein (costume design), Philip Rosenberg (lighting design), Nick Kourtides (sound design), and Alison Cote (stage manager).

Performances will run through March 27.
