Paper Mill Playhouse Announces Children’s Theater Season

Paper Mill Playhouse has announced the 2008-2009 Children’s programming line-up, with all performances beginning at 10:00 am on Saturdays and Sundays.

ArtsPower National Touring Theatre will present Madeline & the Bad Hat, November 15-16; Young Audiences of NJ and The Surflight Theatre will present Schoolhouse Rock, Live!, November 22-23; Theatreworks will stage The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, November 28-30; and IntraMusic Theatricals will mount The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley, December 6-7.

Paper Mill Playhouse and Young Audiences of NJ will present The American Boy Choir, December 9; Theatreworks USA will present A Christmas Carol, December 13-14; Ball In The House, March 28, will take the stage thanks to Paper Mill Playhouse and Young Audiences of NJ; and Pushcart Players will present Little Red Riding Hood & Other Stories, April 25-26.

The Theatreworks production of If You Give A Pig A Pancake & Other Story Books will take the stage, May 9-10, and the Theatreworks production of Junie B. Jones will follow. Pushcart Players will present Happily Ever After: A Cinderella Tale, May 16-17, and the season will close with the Theatreworks production of Seussical, May 30-31.
