Brooksher, Coughtry, McClintock, et al. Set for Shakespeare Theatre of NJ’s Romeo & Juliet

Jordan Coughtry and Rebecca Brooksher will play the title roles in the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey’s staging of Romeo & Juliet, to be directed by David Kennedy, to run October 15-November 16.

The cast will also include Chris Landis (Benvolio), Shawn Fagan (Mercutio), Tristan Colton (Tybalt), Jodie Lynn McClintock (Nurse), David Manis (Friar Laurence), Bil Christ (Capulet), Judith Lightfoot Clark (Lady Capulet), Bernard Burak Sheredy (Montague), and Jon Barker, Robyn Berg, Nick Farco, Mark Farr, Sean Hudock, Dan Lendzian, Tim Nicolai, and Todd Quick.

The creative team will include Tobin Ost (sets), Jennifer Moeller (costumes), Sara Sidman (lighting), Greg Hennigan (sound), and Doug West (fight choreography). Kennedy has worked with such theaters as Toronto’s Lunar Society, the Dallas Theater Center, and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival.

Coughtry has appeared in the company’s productions of Amadeus, Henry VI, and The Merry Wives of Windsor. Brooksher starred Off-Broadway in Dying City and in the recent Barrington Stage Company production of Noel Coward’s Private Lives.
