The play revolves around a contemporary African-American family summering on Martha's Vineyard. Diamond's previous credits include a stage adaptation of Toni Morrison's The Bluest Eye.

The cast will feature Kevin T. Carroll, Javon Johnson, Monette Magrath, Julia Pace Mitchell, John Wesley and Michole Briana White.

The production will feature scenic design by Felix E. Cochren, costume design by Karen Perry, lighting design by Victor En Yu Tan and sound design by Darron L. West.
