Ashford, who played Jack Deveraux on the long-running soap opera, takes on the role of egomaniacal and misogynistic boss Franklin Hart, Jr.

Keith Andrews direct the musical, which is adapted from the 1980 film and features a score by Dolly Parton and book by Patricia Resnick. The cast also includes Erica Aubrey as Judy Bernly, Becky Gulsvig as Doralee Rhodes, Carrie McNulty as Violet Newstead, and Sally Struthers as Roz Keith.

The production features choreography by Gerry McIntyre and musical direction by Andrew Austin.
