Jeffry Denman and Diane J. Findlay to Star in Laguna Playhouse’s I Loved Lucy

Broadway veterans Diane J. Findlay and Jeffry Denman will star in the Laguna Playhouse’s production of Lee Tannen’s I Loved Lucy, an intimate portrait of Lucille Ball, to run October 5-31. Todd Weeks will direct the production, which is based on Tannen’s memoir of the same name..

As previously reported, Academy Award and Emmy Award winner Cloris Leachman will bring her solo act to the Playhouse, September 23 -27.

The Playhouse will present the musical Daddy Long Legs, November 30 – December 26. With music and lyrics by Paul Gordon and a book by director John Caird, the piece focuses on a young orphan girl as she blossoms into a beautiful, intelligent and vivacious woman.

In the new year, the theater will present the newest musical biography from Hershey Felder, Maestro: The Art of Leonard Bernstein (January 4-February 6), directed by Joel Zwick and a revival of Noel Coward’s Private Lives (March 15-April 10), directed by Andrew Barnicle.
