Will Ferrell to Star in Anchorman 2 Film

Will Ferrell will star in the film Anchorman 2. The film will be directed by Adam McKay, who will also co-write the film with Ferrell.
In this sequel to the 2004 film, Anchorman, Ferrell will once more play Ron Burgundy. Original cast members Steve Carell, Paul Rudd and David Koechner will also appear in the new film.
Ferrell starred on Broadway in You’re Welcome America: A Final Evening With George W. Bush, which received a Tony nomination for Best Special Theatrical Event. His many films include Casa de Mi Padre, Land of the Lost, Elf, and Everything Must Go, and he is well known for his work on NBC’s Saturday Night Live.
