George Chakiris, Rita Moreno, and Russ Tamblyn, who respectively portrayed Bernardo, Anita, and Riff in the film version of West Side Story, participated in a hand and foot print ceremony at the historic Grauman's Chinese Theatre on November 15.

The event was part of 20th Century Fox's 50th Anniversary celebration of the film, which made its premiere at Grauman's 50 years ago.

In the evening, the newly released Blue Ray version of the film was shown, with guests including Morgan Fairchild, who accompanied Chakiris on the red carpet.
